newest mods
2003 with a 05 front end and 08 mirrors

and a view from them

Pull the plugs and trim piece to reveal the 4 11mm nuts holding the mirror on

Pop off the switch panel and remove the plugs. This will allow you to get to 1 of 2 7mm screws holding the panel on

Using a scew driver, pop off the red plastic lens and remove the second 7mm screw

Now lift upward and outward to remove the door panel. Make sure you unplug the light assembly before pulling too hard.

Now unplug the mirror from the harness

At this point remove the 4 5.5mm screws holding the speaker in the door. This will give you access so you can fish the new mirror harnes through.

Remove the 4 11mm nuts and remove the old mirror. Make sure you hold on to the mirror while removing the nuts.

With the old mirrors removed, prep the new mirrors my removing the L shaped tabs on the mounting surface.

Feed the new harness through the hole and secure the new mirror. Tighten the nuts and be careful not to over tighten.

Splice the wires according to the instructions. There was one discrepency in the instructions I recieved. There was a purple wire in the passenger side harness instead of the 2 listed.
