computer virus :(

So over the weekend my computer i use for the Stealth business got a spyware virus.. its called AV Security Suite and it acts like a antivirus program. well its not.. and it prevents your real anti virus from turning on and it doesnt let you open any software...

so im going to have to wipe the laptop clean and start fresh.. now i might be a lil hard to get ahold of via Email or online since its going to take me a good part of the day just to re load all the software and get everything set up how it was before....

sucky part is i dont remember any of my passwords for everything lol.... not sure if anyone has had this virus and how they fixed it... i tried a few things and one of them worked but in order for it to clean out the computer you have to upgrade to the full version and it makes you pay in order to get rid of it....

i might just suck it up and pay for it but what a PITA..

Start with downloading mbam on it and run it

dont buy the program, its crap! we picked up the EXACT same virus a week ago...

...easiest thing to do is system retore to a previous point in your computers history

Download Mbam follow the instructions above. That way you loose nothing. Using system restore you still have the virus. Its just in another partition of your hard drive
