I would like it to be the Bears and whoever, but I am not sure they can get it done. They have had a good season so far, but I am amazed at the number of teams that seemed have slow starts that now have records as good as the Bears. It seems that they fall apart on the big games. I would like it, but I don't think it will happen.

Alright let's blame it on one man, that sounds like something Jim Rome would say. A team wins together, and loses together. "Peyton" aka the Colts have lost each year to better teams. Sure the Colts shouldn't have lost to Pitts last year, or to NE in previous years....but they can say that they lost to the Super Bowl Champion.
Now, anyone would have picked the Bears at beginning of the season. I've never been one to pick Super Bowl contenders after the first half dozen games. I usually wait until the 12th week because that's when teams are really seem to be set in the season. My picks for the AFC Super Bowl rep are San Diego maybe Baltimore and if not them New England. The Colts, even though they're my hometown team and I love them they will get rolled not because "Peyton can't win big games" but because of the horrible run defense that couldn't stop a team made up of all our grandmothers - living or not and as good as the offense is, no offense can make up for that. As for the NFC rep I pick Dallas but that's been really really tough for me to say. I mean Romo is showing he's able to compete, but don't get me wrong i'm no Romosexual. I want to say Chicago, but the play of Grossman seems to be hindering them lately more than anything. My mind may change slightly by season's end but that's what i'm calling. And for the Champ I pick San Diego....and my reasons are that they have a Defense that does their job, followed by a nearly unstoppable LT, and Phillip Rivers has done a fine job getting the ball where it's supposed to go.
