Time for me to brag! My son is going to States!

I am one proud Papa fellow Powerstrokers!

Just found out my oldest son Paul just qualified to go to the Virginia State High School Track Championships in Lynchburg March the 1st.

His 4x800 relay team won their regional competition and is on their way!

He runs Cross Country track in the fall and the mile and the 2000 in the spring. During this winter indoor track season he has run the 1000 and the relay. He only missed regional time in the 1000 by 3 seconds!

Here is a pic of him running during cross country

I am Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo proud of him!!!!!!!

Sweeeeet I wished I would have persued Xcountry more in highschool. As a freshman i was running mid 18's on the 3.1 courses which equates roughly to running 6 minute miles over 3 miles. Instead I started working because I wanted a truck and a girlfriend. LMAO.

Congrats! Tell him to keep it up and the best advice I was ever given was to stretch EVERYDAY regardless if you run.

Thanks guys!

Maintain he definitely runs everyday... I've started calling him forrest! During CC season he puts in about 40 miles a week! His best time for CC is 18:05

He ran the mile this past fall in 4:42

I sure as heck don't know where he gets it from but he sure enjoys it.
