I use to ride broncs, but I have not been on one for about three years. But I am going to crack back out in team roping.

Right on! I miss it so much, I am at school right now and haven't roped since the state finals. I am planning on hitting the IMPRA a little this year. My old man wouldn't let me ride broncs, he figured I would get busted up eventually even though I can ride like no other.

Y'all are lucky. I rode with a friend for probably 8 years before I left for college....In the last 6 years I've ridden maybe 10 times. Never gotten to rope, but always been a dream of mine....oh well.....someday.

It's fun but gets so dang expensive! My family doesn't have a ton of money so I had to learn how to train my own horses. I learned form one of the best around southern Idaho and I am proud to say I have been offered over 50,000 for my team roping horse and was offered 25,000 for my calf roping horse at his first rodeo. I wouldn't take anything under 50,000 for him now.

That's why I have not roped for so long I do not have a rich daddy to buy horses for me. I had to train all of my horses growing up as well. But I might get to go to Texas this summer and stay with my brother'N' law, Charley Crawford and do some roping down there. Which will be a kick in the azz to say the least.

I never even owned a horse so y'all are ahead of me.... I just rode with someone that had horses. Lucky to have been able to do that though. I miss it big time.
