Man, I love rodeo. I grew up pretty much a city boy and never had the opportunity to try it out. That was until 3 years ago when I was 29. We live in a small town with several guys who ride or used to ride broncs in the PRCA. Well, got talkin to the vet one day and I said that ever since going to my first rodeo I had wanted to try bull riding. He called me a few weeks later about a clinic that he and his buddy were putting on and said "Hell Yeah, I'm in!" Rode or tried to ride 8 bulls in one weekend. Only crappy thing is I only got on picture of me cause the lady that had my camera had never used a digital and she didn't know how to use it. Here's a picture of me getting bucked off.

Bullfighter, I felt like I had caught the bug...but then after several weeks looking for gear my wife reminded me that I was 29, a father of an 8 month baby girl, and not getting any younger. I still go to the rodeo and actually have a buddy who's grandfather (Frank Beard out of Ellensburg WA) just retired from the Stock Contractor buisness. My buddy is now raising some bulls and broncs and I've helped out at the rodeo. I try to get to as many as possible around my area and every time the bull riding event begins that damn bug starts to make me itch.

I did some Chute Doggin' in college on the Rodeo Team. Had a horse that passed away just over a year ago and hope to get another one at some point in time. We go to the local rodeos to watch now.
