If you feel so strongly on the subject while don't you enlighten us as to who you think the best driver is?

I can't really take anyone serious who drives or otherwise owns a nova anyway.....

I was not a Sr. fan, but he was one heck of a driver. He helped make NASCAR what it is today. I agree, it is not the same today. That said, my biggest gripe with Jr. (don't mean to offend anyone) is his fans. He inherited most of them, and when you go to a race, all you hear is Jr. fand booing everyone when Jr. is behind and cheering when he is in the top 20. I was at the all-star race a few years ago and remember the fans cheering when he passed lap cars, eventhough he was on the tail end. i also hate having to hear about Jr. all the time on TV, when he is wrecked out, 3 laps down, whatever. He gets more camera time than the leaders. That's all folks, just my opp.

As far as drivers go...I have liked Mark Martin for the past several years. He is one of the few drivers who goes out, runs the race and win or lose doesn't whine and cry about how he was cut off or bumped or whatever BS that these other whiney asses use as an excuse for a poor set-up or poor driving that day. I have only watched bits and pieces of cup racing since Nextel took over and made it all politically correct so I am by far not an expert on the drivers. I just do not care for Dale Jr. or the way he presented himself when he first started driving. I got a bad first impression of him and haven't liked him since.

That is the opinion of a Nova driver instead of one of those cars that everyone has(ie Camaro, Mustang, Chevelle....).

You're not like most of the Jr. fans I know. They would say Jr. won, everyone else just cheated. I respect a true fan's opinions.

ditto on the Mark Martin, he has always been a hard charger, and never really a complainer. I wish he could have gotten a few more breaks over the years.

I personally don't think Jr. will live up to the legacy of the 88 that Dale Jarett gave it.

( cars everyone else has huh? I've seen very few 1967 Camaro RS around let alone one that has functioning headlight doors. NOVA's are CHEAP that's why people buy those. "If I'm out to race hard I drive a Camaro. If I want to go the the grocery store and put groceries in the hatchback, I'll drive a NOVA) He said hatchback

Unless you have a shoebox nova, those are hotrods!
