Spokesman says Joe Paterno's condition 'serious' after further complications - ESPN

There's unconfirmed reports going around that he passed away at 8:11pm EST...again UNCOMFIRMED.

**UPDATE** Joe Paterno has died at the age of 85. Rest in Peace Joe-Pa. Thanks for all your contributions to college football, and the Big 10.

Sure is sad. One of the greatest. Very modest person too, lived in the same small house for yearssss and donated millions to charity. One of the last old school guys to play.
