As some of you may know, the long time Oklahoma college football rivalry has always been a big one between OSU and OU. 'Bedlam 2011' was last night at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, OK. OSU came out on top 44-10. Despite all of the rivalry and whatnot, there was an awesome moment during the half-time show. Both OU and OSU marching bands performed together 'Amazing Grace' in honor of OSU women's basketball coach Kurt Budke and assistant coach Miranda Serna who were killed in a place crash in November
Oklahoma State Cowboys coach Kurt Budke, assistant Miranda Serna killed in plane crash - ESPN. It was truly a spectacular moment and luckily I got my phone out just in time to catch the very end of the tribute. Both teams band's out on the field together, playing together, honoring together. Complete silence in the stadium while the revelry was taking place. I was also very proud to see all of OU's coaching staff wearing orange ribbons on their shirts to honor our fallen Cowboys and Cowgirls. Aside from the utter devastation that took place on the field, it was really a special evening. I wanted to share this clip with you all. If you're a Cowboy, a Sooner, or whatever you are, you can surely appreciate the comradery displayed here.
