mojave trail cali

i was reading up on mojave trail that goes from barstow to laughlin .....its a 138 mile trail that leads through the desert and hills ...people say its a good 2-3 day adventure i quess there are alot of cool stuff along the trail ....anyone heard of this ....i think it would be a cool get together adventure if we plan it right .....any opinions on it?

Never heard of it? Is it in the Mojave Desert? I wouldn't want to break down in there... I might be up for a trail ride.

i was reading that alot of people make the trip in there trucks or any 4wd ......camp out a night or two along the way and yeah bring some extra fuel ......you start out in barstow and end up in laughlin i think

I'd be up for it if we had a group. Shawn is right, you don't want to be stuck out there in the desert without a good group of support vehicles. I got stuck in some silt just outside of Death Valley Junction about 5 yrs ago. long story short,,, It turned out to be an all day affair to get unstuck.
