Wanted: Good Transmission Rebuilder in Columbia Area

Starting to look for a transmission shop in the Columbia area. My truck has always had a lazy shift 2-3 and much firmer 3-4. Now there is a perceptible feeling that the engine is "winding up" before leaving from a stop. Not much, I feel I can drive this for quite a few more miles, but I'd like to be able to plan a rebuild rather than get stranded somewhere and have to do it "right now".
My son used Advanced Transmissions in Mauldin, SC. He was happy with their work. I'd use them too, but that's a 90 minute drive each way. So. I'd really appreciate peoples opinions on the local shops.
Thanks,
Mike

I would like to bump this up for reconsideration.
Has anyone in the Columbia area had a transmission rebuild to their satisfaction?
Not looking to race this thing, just drive it and occasionally tow a moderate load.
Thanks,
Mike.

One more bump, do any Powerstroke Carolina members know of any forums with more traffic where I might find some advice for my question? Tranny still hanging in there but I am still looking. Thanks,
Mike.
