Ok gentlemen, we are booked for March 15th at the biggest shelter on the island from 10am-8pm. It's designed to hold 200 people. Children's day is from 10am-1pm and it happening on the other side of the island so that shouldn't interfere.
Here's the catch. My birthday is the following weekend and as long as it's a friends and family event (up to 100 people) it's free. Since I consider some of you family and all of you friends, you are all invited to my BIRTHDAY PARTY! You just have to let the guard at the gate know you are here for Steve Kranendonk's birthday party. Sound it out now...."Kran-en-donk".....3 syllables. Piece of cake, right? LOL Here's a little description of the location: The site is open only to employees and retirees of SCANA, the utility's parent company, and related subsidiaries. Members pay dues to use Pine Island for private functions, such as weddings, parties and meetings. It includes a meeting hall, multiple picnic areas and shelters, sandy beach, 3 boat ramps and 4 docks. The 27-acre Pine Island has been a private club for about 50 years. SCE&G's club is about a mile from the dam, in the more developed eastern half of the lake. Feel free to bring your boat, but there are no pets allowed. There is no camping allowed on the island. I believe they will kick us off around 10-11pm. Beer and liquor is fine, but I wouldn't flash the liquor around too much. The caretaker tends to frown upon seeing liquor on "his" island. There can't be any rolling of the coal or burnouts We can have music, food, drinks and plenty of modded trucks to drool over though Here is the physical location of the island. Since everyone is coming from different places, just get your own direcitons off Google Maps 200 Pine Island Rd, Columbia, Lexington, South Carolina 29212, United States - Google Maps Last edited by SteveKran : 03-01-2008 at 04:45 PM. |

Thanks for the pm pipelayer. I will try to make this event, I am assuming it is in the Columbia area. Funny thing SCANA and SCE&G were mentioned in the pm, and the company that I work for UPA is helping SCE&G with some meter installs, both gas and electric. Just give me a physical address and I will let mr garmin lead the way lol.
