I just learned that the St. Patty's Day Celebration in Five Points is on March 15th.
Also, the Palmetto Sportsman's Classic is on March 28th, 29th, and 30th. *Just thought I'd throw that out there* Ok guys, I thought this was the best way to figure out when everyone wants to have this thing. It can be other dates, but we will have to find another location. Here's a little description of the location: The site is open only to employees and retirees of SCANA, the utility's parent company, and related subsidiaries. Members pay dues to use Pine Island for private functions, such as weddings, parties and meetings. It includes a meeting hall, multiple picnic areas and shelters, sandy beach, 3 boat ramps and 4 docks. The 27-acre Pine Island has been a private club for about 50 years. SCE&G's club is about a mile from the dam, in the more developed eastern half of the lake. Feel free to bring your boat, but there are no pets allowed. There is no camping allowed on the island. I believe they will kick us off around 10-11pm. Beer and liquor is fine, but I wouldn't flash the liquor around too much. The caretaker tends to frown upon seeing liquor on "his" island. There can't be any rolling of the coal or burnouts (I'd like to keep my membership) We can have music, food, drinks and plenty of modded trucks to drool over though Last edited by SteveKran; 02-27-2008 at 12:41 PM. |

It looks like everyone is going for the 15th. I think that is going to work. Next I need to know how many people so I can reserve the shelter for that amount. It's going to be a few dollars for everyone....what do yall think the best way to pay is? I have a paypal account which might work because I will need money up front to purchase everything. If you don't feel comfortable with paypaling me, would Pipelayer(Derrick) be a better choice since he is a mod?
Ok, so what do we want to eat? I'm thinking everyone bring their own beverages. That will make it a lot easier. Do we want to grill out burgers/hotdogs/baked beans/ect...? Or should we try to order food from somewhere? I also need to get a headcount for how many people are going to come. I'll start a list, just add yourself and the number of guests beneath it 1. A cookout is fine for me. Whatever we want to do is good. I can paypall you or meet you somewhere to pay ya. whatever works for me. I live on the other side of the lake.
