Leaf Springs
How many leaf springs are on a factory 2001 F250 4x4 7.3 PS? Here are some pics of mine... A local mechanic said it is suppose to have 2 mine has 5 and i'm wondering if that is causing it to be lower on one side compared to the other side?

Looks like you have a flea bay mini spring pack...

I have the same issue on a 2002, passenger side front. Looks like the spring is de-arching on mine, so I think...

The short leafs are part of a mini-spring pack designed to level the front end.
I dont remember if my '03 has 2 or 3 leafs OEM. I had heard that diesels had 3 leafs where gas had 2 - but its not substantiated. I'd go with 2 as OEM unless someone else chimes in. |

Mine has 5 springs. 4 thick long ones and 1 thin short one.
I have a 2002 F-250 SD 7.3L 4x4 Lariat Crew Cab (4x4 Off Road on the sides of the bed) |
