My first repair

Well, tonight I made my first mechanical repair. Granted it took me and my friend a lil over 5 hours to do, but we got 'er done. We were replacing the o-rings on my HPOP. It was the first time either of us had worked on a diesel. It was fun and a very educated experience for the both of us. I had help from Maintain from here and my other friend Andy from psn.com.

Anyways, I just wanted to say it went well, and I'm glad its over with.

I know right?!? There is only 2 mechanics in my town that'll work on diesels, the Ford dealership and a small mechanic shop. I didnt go to the dealership, and the mechanic shop wanted just shy of $300 to do the job.

Glad you got it fixed. It feels pretty good to start you're truck and say i did that. I bust knuckles and swear but once it is all done none of that matters.

I'm glad its done with too. I was scared at first when I first started on it. I'd never done any sort of mechanical work on a truck or car before. I had a friend with me and another one on the phone, and we got it done that way. The only thing I have left is to wipe the valley clean so I know I got the leak fixed. Once we had everything put back together, we realized that there are 2 wrenches in the valley that we forgot about. So I gotta fish them out.

All in all it wasnt too bad.
