She's not much but she is PAID FOR and mine. 1989 F250 7.3 non-turbo but I am looking into a banks Sidewinder kit. Sorry for not being active on the forum guys but it was almost depressing after losing my 03' to unemployment. but now I got a new toy

Anyone know anything about Banks Sidewinder Kits?

my friend has a banks sidewinder kit on his 86 6.9 idi...pretty cool seein it roll coal out of his stack...deffantly woke the truck up but they only run 6-10 psi

Congrats on getting another Ford! I had a 93 4x4 SC that had the 7.3 IDI. That truck was a DOG. I bought the Sidewinder kit for it. Installed it, and pulled the pump. Had it rebuilt and set up for the new turbo. The kit was complete from the filter all the way to the exhaust tip but was about $3200 IIRC. That truck ran sweet after that. It cut my 0-60 times from around 12.5 seconds to like 6. JJ

Check the SF Bay Area craigslist. Today I saw a used Banks Sidewinder kit for the 7.3 on there for $800. If ya have more skills and time than money, great deal, but as always... caveat emptor.
