Still don't have a settling and filtering system set up.
And have to find, or have fabricated, a tank and heat exchanger for the car.

russ, its an Olds idi diesel, its only going to last till about 70-80k miles if your lucky (historically) so just put veg in the main tank and add a 12v line heater before the filter and another one before the IP and be happy.

This engine is already over 150K, and running strong. Had head bolts replaced with AN bolts before I got it. I just overhauled the transmission,
so I'm counting on at least another 100K.

And, I've got another Olds diesel just like it, that I can either get running again, or use as a donor (engine, transmission, etc).

sweet, must have been overhauled previously as these potors were never known for longevity. Gave diesels a bad name for the next 20 years to follow.
But seriously, use vegi in the main tank, cut with 25% - 50% diesel in cold January temps and that IDI will eat it up. My tractor loves it!

You need to check the tx section... Big PS rally in caddo mills on the 3rd @ KOA campground.. The other is a PSN sponsered event in Terrell/crandall tx speedway....
