boone county pulls

so i pulled the other day at the fair and i was up aginst all diffrent types of trucks not one was stock in the "stock class" this other guy and i were really the only stock trucks (exhaust and intake) but i beat 7 guys that had tuners and other stuff done i pulled 232.6 feet and came in 13/20 with 228,000mi id say i did pretty good the old girl never lets me down. here it is on you tubeYouTube - Ryan McWilliams' August 7th truck pull

Stock class pretty much means that the turbo is stock appearing, for us that means anything drop in. So if you are up against a common rail 5.9 or Duramax you have no chance as they can make near 500 in the work stock class. They will be running stock injectors and stock turbo at that power level.

Good pull ryan I have a 05 6.0 im planning on puttin in the tractor pull in my home town in nc next month. Were you in hi4 or lo lock?

Your gonna wanna be in 4 low and if your automatic trannsmision let it shift to second and thats it. Then when you get to the end of your pulkl try and slip it into nuetral before ya let off the throttle. Goodluck and youll have lots of fun

I didn't get out their this year, my buddy said there was a black dually that pulled the sled off the track anyone know if their's any truth to that. A video of it would be nice too, if anyone has one.

Yeah, that is the truth. It was my truck, went 313.8ft. I don't have a video but I'll try to get a pic to work in this post.
