Local sled pull

Once a year we have a sled pull down where I live in WV. The classes are 1/4ton, 1/2ton, and 3/4ton. Yesterday at 7:30p.m. is when the event started. I knew I wasn't going to be interested until the 3/4tons were up, but finally it was there turn. Competing (diesel wise) was a 99 powerstroke, and 01 powerstroke, a 96 powerstroke, and an 06 cummins. Now I own a 96 powerstroke myself, so I was pumped to see one competing. I went and talked to the guy and soon found out all he had done was exhaust, chip, and intake (my exact setup, other then my turbo). Anyways after a couple rounds it ended up being the 96powerstroke and the 06 cummins in a final pull. The cummins was up first, he made it 54 inches and snapped the driveshaft, after he was pulled outta the way the 96 powerstroke made a full pull and won the competition. Now, Ive had my 96 powerstroke for a couple of years and was wanting to get a newer cummins just for the 6spd, but after seeing what a 96 can do I wouldn't get rid of it for the world.
