im hooked!!!

on sat. night, my dad called me and said i have a job for you tonite-so i came to the fair grounds and he said your job is to hook up all the trucks and tractors to the sled for the whole night and of corse i said he(l yea!!!
so i did it the whole night!!
and now im hooked
i want to pull my truck so bad i can taste it but i dont know what to do to it first-also i still want to be able to drive it

I know nothing about pulling...but my advise is,...pay attention to the trucks when you hook them up,...look at them closely,..and ask questions...

i tried to ask some of them questions after the pull and most of them wouldnt say anything but i could understand since they didnt want someone doing the same stuff to thier trucks

i did it not planning on getting paid but the fair president sliped me a 50 at the end
i would have been fine w/o being paid b/c i got in free, and got a front row seat!!!!!!!

Check the rules for where you want to hook.

Most likely you will be hooking in the 2.5" turbo class.

First things first....

Get a hitch.
Traction bars.
Build your weight bracket.

Once you get to the track... 4 wheel lo... most likely second gear no matter what trans.

if you have a manual i would get a dual disk clutch and then some power adders
