No sled pulling sticky?

Son is wanting to pull the 06 in the fair this year. I've done some reading but it is so spread out.
Pull in 4lo and third gear.
Lower front air pressure. Any suggestion on front and rear?
Traction bars.
Strap front. Any pics of this?
What tires are suggested? Wide or narrow. Tall or short? Mud tires or something lse?
Do rear springs need to be made stiffer?
Anything else? Thanks

I just had my second pull with my 06 last night. Make sure you lock the front hubs, lower the pressure in the front to 40 or 35. Strap the front end down to tighten the suspension, or get a 4 link kit. I have to get one, if you cant do either, then make sure he knows what axle hop is, and when it starts, to let go of the throttle. Dont use the brakes at any time, and have fun! Somebody else with some more experience can tune in to help some more! But once you're hooked, you're hooked!

anyone got pics of straping down the front end?
I read somewhere there was something to replace the lockout hubs.
Anyone know what they are called and where to get?
