First time pull help!!!!please

Hey everyone. I have a friend that has convinced me to pull my truck one time. Just want to know what the best setting is and what gear and everything to have it in. My truck is an 08 ccsb. I have the spartan tuner, intake, and exhaust. I am not one to abuse my truck so any insight would be awesome

I've always heard 3 gear low range is the best way to do it. And if it starts to hop just let out if it cuz if you don't. Chit will break lol.

You could ratchet Down the front end to keep it from hopping
