Fitst sled pull tonight!!!

Well i did some sled pulling tonight! only got 184ft with a 40hp php tow tune... i was spinning like crazy though so i guess thats why i didnt get very far but i had fun wish i would got some traction maybe get my truck in the 200ft marker Oh yeah forgot to mention truck died when I let off the throttle is this normal ??

Truck died like at the end of the run when you let off? Maybe it was tired?

Well Congrats on the first hook ever, pull my antique tractors, just not my truck. But i know what your talkin bout lol it is a great feeling your first hook

Where is the video at?

It's not really uncommon for the truck to die after letting off at full throttle. It used to happen to old carb vehichles all the time. But it still happens to injection vehichles some times.

Piece of advice take off a little slower next time and get the sled rolling a little bit before hammering the throttle should help some and turn the steering left to right just a little to gain a little traction as well. And of course get a bigger tune.
