If you have ever been into Super Stock tractors, you are probably very familiar with Jerry VanDorpe and his tractor Screamin Demon II. He is one of the pioneers in the sport of truck and tractor pulling and was still a top finisher well into his 80's. He was also recently inducted into the NTPA hall of fame.

Jerry passed away yesterday morning. A very sad day for the sport.

Jerry was a child hood hero and to this day one of my favorites to watch. The reaction he recieved from the grandstands spoke how much the community loved and respected him. God Speed Jerry.
