Powerstrokes take show

We had our labor day firemans festival in Brooklyn Wisconsin this weekend and we always have a two day truck and tractor pull. For both classes stock and unlimited the fords won, even the big block gas class. We had two 08 psd pull they took first and second in the "stock" class. One was just picked up the day before with 320 miles on it. In the unlimited a gorgoues 6.0 outpulled everyone with 330 feet. There was a cummins there that was supposed to take the show but one of the stock 08 psd beat him. One duramax broke, one broke both outer tie rods haha. The only psd that had a problem broke a u-joint because he kept going after it started to bounce. It was a great weekend for the PSD and i think the ford dealer is gonna be busy on tuesday selling the 08's.

Yeah it's pretty much ford country around here. Oh yeah and one of the new 08's the one that had 320 miles on it pulled four times i think. The guy let is two sons pull, then he lets his wife pull, then he registers it and runs it in the modded class himself. tHey did very well every time.

Talking slight correction

I appreciate the comment about the truck that won the "hot diesel" class in Brooklyn being "gorgeous" but, I just wanted to let you know that it's actually an '02 7.3 truck. I'll try to edit the video small enough to post it here.

It is always good to hear that PSDs did well in a sled pull. We do not hear that enough.

That would be great if you could post up a video. Was it your truck? because i didnt really pay attention to the badges, but it looked like it had the 2005 and up grill and headlights, so i thought it was a 6.0. oops! It is a sharp truck however. I wasnt thinking so i didnt bring a camera or nothing so i dont have any video, but i know some people that did i will try to get it.

brooklyn video

Here is a link to the video of my truck at the brooklyn hot diesel pull. My truck is an '02 with a 7.3, it's a dually but, I had to put singles on it for this class. The distance you hear my fiance mention at the end of the pull was the cummins that pulled before me and ended up being the second place truck, I ended up with 330.8 ft Video of brooklyn hot diesel 07 - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
