1st pull

hey guys , I'm realitvely new to your site, so i thought id say hi and see what the pros think of my first pull last night at the fair they had their first pulling sled so i had to try it . there were only 8 diesels 300' pull some guys there have pulled before. i placed second first pull went full 300, next 294.2 lost to a pstroke 350 dually 9' dump he did full pull both runs , 3rd was a dodge crew cab 8' dually that had been worked over "he wasnt happy" beat him by 2 feet! there was an07 dmax everyone said had big dollars in mods but he went 27? not sure exactly a couple older cummins with some work done they wouldnt say what they had done just smiled at me like i had no chance! i have an 04 350 psd x-cab short bed sct sf, zoodad, filter, mbrp turbo back. thought i did ok first pull took second place , only single rear wheel truck to do a full pull! but what i liked best 2 fords entered- 1 -2 finish! the crowd was upset that the duallys got to pull with the single wheels but long as i beat the dodge i didnt care. any tips for the next pull ? i did my performance tune agressive tow both runs the first was 4hi drive second was 4low drive i was in 4th gear by 275' never really felt the weight the second pull but lost traction

Good job man. Sounds like you did not have too much trouble. There are some threads in the pulling section for different set ups. Might want to check it out. And to the ORG
