NC Sled Pull

I wish I would have joined this site before I bought my Banks Six-Gun.
So Saturday I went to sled pull with some friends, just to watch and drink some beers. My friends finally talked me and one of my co-workers into entering the competition. His truck is just like mine except a year newer, short bed, SCT tuner, and had 11 tractor weights in his bed. I had 3 tractor weights. I pulled 306' for 4th place and he pulled 340' for 1st place and $100. I think I'm hooked now. I know if I'd had more weight I'd done better, but I don't know if I could pull 340'. Those SCTs are awesome. There is an "all diesel" sled pull in Morgans Corner, NC on July 28th. Anyone close enough should come.

Nah I just mapquested Hickory, NC and there were two of them. Yeah my friend and I are building ladder bars this week to try to prevent some damage. All I think I need now is 8 or 9 tractor weights and I think I'll be pulling in the 340's. Remember if your not breaking stuff your not having enough fun.
