pulling hitches

can you sled pullers post up pics of your hitch setups, also where are you buying your clevis's and what size? my dad use to pull 4wd modified years ago but when i look up the companys he knew of their not around anymore but sometime in the near future im going to make a hitch and do a couple hooks next year after some more mods. so what other mods for pulling only would you all recommend like ladder bars etc. and are driveshaft loops and trans blankets required in all classes?

What you should do first if figure out what club or organization you are pulling with and get the rule book. That will answer alot of your questions. The rules may state that you have to have a reese style hitch on the truck with a clevis with a 3" opening. That is very common. Get your rule book and lets see what is allowed first.

I agree with Pat.. check the rules first.

There are a couple of ways you can do this.. don't know who's actually making them though.

I'd like to talk to you more... I currently work for (and crew for) a modified 4wd puller... I also help a local guy who's just gotten into diesel pulling.
