Best Gear to Pull in?
I have a 1997 Ford F350 Powerstroke Crewcab automatic. I use an Edge programmer. My truck has 4.10 gears and I run 33in by 1250 MudTerrains. I just started pulling with it. My last pull I used 1st gear 4 low and had all the power in the world but no speed. What is the best gear to pull in for next time?

Probably start and second, then manually lock it up next time and see how it does. You might also try second unlocked then go to third if second locked up seems like it has some left in it. You can try locking the converter manually before and after the 2-3 shift to see which works better. Just make sure you have overdrive off

I start in third gear 4-lo and keep it there, no shifting at all
