what tune to pull with?

i have never pulled my truck before. with that being said i have watch alot at the track and read alot on here. im going to leave it in drive build boost and hammer down. my question is, i have extreme race stud tune and also dj's looney. i know eric's likes to upshift when i get into it and then build power in the higher gear.i dont want it to upshift and bog down to bad to get the rpms back up. will this mess me up? should i worry about it and run dj's????

Thanks
Peter

you have studs, just run erics. wonder if it would help if you turned the tow/haul mode on. it holds the gears a little longer. just make sure you drive it around for a while in tow/haul mode so the trans learns it a bit or you will have problems with it shifting i believe. take some vid if you can
