MY POOR SHAFT

well went and pulled at the NTPA truck pull here at the fair grounds friday night , won the event , but trashed the truck again, im about tired of this , looking for a dually rear end out of 2000 to 07 , time to redo with bigger stuff i guess , thats the fifth rear end in three years , and this time it isnt fixable and i dont want to , hogs head spun inside the axles ,is facing almost straight up , pinion gear snapped off of course then and busted the new driveshaft , so truck is down again, not a good pic ,was dark, but i have the trophy in one hand the driveshaft in the other

, ill get a couple more pics tomorrow of the carnage

pulled 329 feet , 10 feet further than a pretty nicely built duramax , and the rest were all less than 290 feet the lowest number ive seen which was 5 feet, lol

well , it does suck, mainly because i just got it back together after the diesel power challenge and have been enjoying driving it again, seems like it stays down more than i use it anymore

So if I'm figuring this correctly your truck is FWD? (Front wheel drive) I think I know how it broke.

damn mismatch tires ,

, and yes it is front wheel drive for now , had to drag the rear tires off the track, to load it on the trailer to get it home , and by the way that post was after me and shane had a few drinks last night
