05 f350 SRW wheel hop?

i get front wheelhop really bad when i pull anyone else have this? what will fix it? new shocks?

You might have to get traction bars. Actually I'm going to build my set when funds are set.

yeah i have same problems, hops me out of the seat! have to say im not sure how to build front traction bars???

Ooops! I thought you were talking about Rear wheelhops. My mistake, sorry..........I would think a 2005 and up that you couldn't get wheelhops. Because of the arms and there's no leaf spring to bind up. It maybe your shocks I'm not sure. I've never had a problem with the frontend. Sorry.

What tire pressures are you running pulling? How much boost are you building before you launch?

Just got back from an MPA pull here in IA, I chained my front axle down, hooked a chain inside frame and ran it around the trailing arms and hooked a binder to my upper shock mount and cinched it down hard..worked great! front was solid no wheel hop.also lowered tire pressure 40 front 50 rear.. got 6th out of 8 trucks but last 5 trucks were within 10 feet. 4th-274.9 5th-274 6th (me) 271.9 7th-269.1 8th-265.4.. so overall i was happy..it was a good pull..the 1st -3rd trucks were built to the sky (really should be in pro class) so the real battle is us guys at the back of the pack..
