What is this tool for?

I think this came with a stock I bought some time back. To my knowledge I have not had a need for it. What is it for?

Ah - seems you bought a weapon that was a collaboration of the French and Polish. It is a Polish bayonet mixed with a peep sight so the French knew when to run. They still use that in their military to this day.
