Thumbs up Non-profit organization Backyard Bow Pro

Just a little info on a great organization which is gaining access for hunting opportunities and feeding the hungry.
Backyard Bow Pro was founded in 2011 and already has certified "Crime Free" members in 19 states. They are gaining access to property which has previously been off limits to hunters and providing food for the less fortunate in the local communities in which the animals are harvested. Working with non-hunting landowners, Land Concervancies, University Agricultural Departments and State Wildlife Agencies, Backyard Bow Pro is changing the way that non-hunters view what we do. They are making "Heroes" out of hunters again. Check them out at Hunt | game processing, wild game cooking, wild game dinners, wild game recipes - GameDinner.com and on facebook at Team Backyard Bow Pro. You can join as a certified member or contribute by becoming a supporting member. It's a great cause!

For anybody out there who might be interested, we are meeting with the Low Country Food Bank in Charleston, SC on June 1st to get a chapter set up there. The SC DNR, THe County Agricultural Extension agent, the local Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry coordinator and several private landowners will be in the meeting. Later that day we will be meeting with our local members and other interested hunters who want to know more about our organization. Tell your friends and contact Backyard Bow Pro thru the web site if somebody wants to attend.
