I used to have the Mark III all stainless steel with the 14" SS bull barrel and a laser dot scope.

Deadly accurate to the little bushytails! Had to brace on something though - ended up selling it a few years ago.

I have a 22/45 mkIII Its my favorite gun and prety much the only one I shoot any more... Funny I keep dumping money into and accesorizing all the guns I dont shoot and the gun I shoot the most I havent done a thing to! I guess thats perfection outa the box?

I have two MKII a 5.5 inch BULL BARREL & a 6 7/8 inch BULL BARREL both are in blue, but I've been think of selling one of my MKII to get a MKIII ???

IMHO as much as I love my MkIII the MkIIs are higher quality and don't have all the lawyer garbage on em. (loaded chamber indicator, no fire if no mag in gun etc.) Personally if I owned a MkII I wouldn't be looking to "upgrade" to a MkIII. newer isn't always better.
