SASS

Anyone shoot in SASS?

I'm considering trying this out, it looks like a lot of fun and gives you a reason to throw some lead.

SASS is a blast but can get very, very expensive!!! I know my Uncle is into it big time. His outfit was almost 5 grand, not including the guns!!! Whatever you do, don't have your cell phone go off at one of the events!! I am serious some of these guys think they are Wild Earp!! A good 357 lever gun, revolver is what most use, and then shoot mild 38 lead wadcutters. I am sure is varies my clubs, but the one I went to was just to much for me.
I prefer something that will build SD skills that I can use in the real world. I have joined IDPA and will be shooting my first match in a couple weeks. Check them out and see if there is a club near you.

Google it, it is Cowboy action shooting, they dress up in period costumes just like the Civil War reinactments do. Like I said a lot of fun but also a lot of $$$$ I prefer IDPA for my needs.

This is what I'm hearing, might just be too rich for my blood.

Craig and I have talked about the IDPA shoots, I'll check them out.

Ley me know how you do at the match.
