That would be fun, but I'd have to take out a second mortgage to pay for the ammo, and I don't have a high power rifle anymore . I sold it to buy my Glock

Yeah, you can use any caliber that you want to. Many use 10/22s. You can use about anything you have. Just have enough ammo. I have read that it is also good to have something semi-auto with around atleast a 10 round capacity.

Another cool thing is that it is free for anyone under 21 or if you are female. I think that is a great way to promote the sport.
