Now must not be a good time to learn. I haven't reloaded squat, so far. I've got the press, and dies. some casings for .357, bullets for 38/.357, powder for both, and primers for .38. I'm just waiting on primers, or brass, whichever gets here first.

I'll give them a try. I already read "The ABC's of Reloading", and have been working on the Lyman 49th. I have nothing but time before my stuff gets in. I ordered the primers in April.

Thanks.

I hear good things about the Puma too. Are you going to stick with the 357 caliber? Let us/,e know how it shoots if you could, I'd like to add one to my collection, but I think I'll go for the 44 cal

Yea, I want to have two guns in the same caliber. My .357 revolver was bought private treaty. Therefore, worse case scenario, I could declare my rifle for tax purposes, and not the pistol. a friens of mine has a .44 carbine and loves it. Besides, .357 are cheaper to buy or reload and I get to shoot .38 also.

That's always a point that I forget

Maybe I just like the idea of owning a caliber that has killed more gaem than any other caliber in history

I have a 357, so your idea would be better for me anyway

The first thing I ever reloaded for was my 338-378 Weatherby. Using expensive bullets (Barness TTSX) it costs about $1.25 per cartridge to reload. Beats the heck out of 6 dollars everytime you squeeze the trigger with factory ammo . Fortunately I have about 1000 primers for it, my 257 Wby and '06 as they are hard to come by these days. Good luck on the new hobby .

Ken....
