WANTED: OBS EBPV

So I was getting ready to do the exhaust brake mod to my EBPV and when I jumped power to the EBPV connector nothing happened. Thats when i notinced the glob of weld on top of the housing. Apparently some arse-clown had welded the pivot pin to the housing to keep it from closing.

Anybody have a good one they want to give up? I really want a working one on my truck so I can use it as an exhaust brake for when towing my Jeep.

You're killin me here!! I've been wanting to get rid of the EBPV, but haven't had the time or money or anything. Mostly the money part though

What do you have to buy to get rid of the EBPV? Why not just remove the butterfly and plug the ends?

I'm keeping mine to aid in warmup and to use as an exhaust brake. If I lived in AZ I'd probably get rid of it for the extra exhaust flow though.

Most people get rid of it because its a failure point and they want simplicity. I personally like it as I do drive my truck in the cold occasionally and I am hoping to make this thing more drivable over the summer. Maybe make it able to tow a trailer even.

I built the thing to go snow bashing so I think I need to keep the EBPV

I think that's all there is too it, but idk. I'm lazy, and would rather have all the dirty work done for me, then all I would have to do is yank the turbo and pedestal off and swap in the modded one
