RARE Single wheel, single cab XLT!!!


1997 F-350(1 ton) single rear wheel truck.


THE GOOD:
7.3L Powerstroke diesel
Never been chipped(good for the reliability)
Huge open-element air filter from Complete Diesel W/ "outerwear"
I have an air-to-water intercooler for it but I have not installed it and it will need custom intake pipes built to accomidate it
auto trans with Banks billet TQ, kevlar clutches and bands. 54,xxx miles on a brand new rebuild
4X4 with Dana 60 front and Sterling 10.25" rear(drums on rear) Very heavy duty, non electronic shift transfer case
New Beans Diesel 1.0 Quick-spool exhaust housing. Spools much faster and makes way more boost then stock
3" Down pipe, 4" exhaust pipe with stainless muffler. Sounds very good but not loud!
Newer brakes that are the best I have ever seen! It will stop no matter how heavy you are pulling!
Convert-a-ball hitch with 1 7/8", 2" and 2 5/16" balls. Goose neck hitch installed with a flush mount, quick change ball
Digital trailer brake controler
Boost/Trans temp/EGT pillar gauges
XLT, grey cloth split bench seat, grey carpet
Power everything except seats
Comes with tool box shown
Clear lense "euro" style head lights(alot brighter then stock) I have also wired a relay into the hi beams so the hi and low beams are on when the brights are on.
It will pull ANYTHING you hook to it!



THE BAD:
I will fix the hood and put a bumper on it for free is someone give the full $5000 asking price.
Hood is bend, works just fine but looks yucky
will need tires soon, current tires are about 30%
The interior is alittle dirty
Needs a front bumper
Could use some new shocks but you'd probably never even notice a difference


The truck has 330,5xx miles but dont let that scare you away. This is a very strong truck and will pull anything you put on it. I have maintaned this truck very well! The only thing I have had to do to this truck in the 3 years I have owned it is a starter and brakes. I have driven this truck across the country several times and would not hesitate to do it again today. Since installing the turbo and exhaust, I have jumped from about 12 MPG to nearly 16 depending on how/where I am driving. Basically, pulling a trailer weighing 8000 lbs down the interstate at 80 mph you will get around 13-14mpg. All things considered, that is not bad at all since this truck is 13 years old with over 330,000 miles! The only reason I am selling is so I can fund my move to Oz!
