Hey RS,
I ordered a set of projector headlights, seen here:
SPYDER® - Ford F-350 2008-2010 Smoke Halo Projector Headlights with LEDs - SD

I didnt order from there, and told they are Sonar ( I think they are the same as spyder?)
Regardless, I asked which bulbs they take and was told H1 for both hi+low beams.

I know I want 5000k colour, id also prefer 55w but im reading mixed thoughts on whether they are too hot for housings?
And Im in Canada so curious on shipping options.

For the after market lamps, the optics are generally not designed very well, and on some versions for some makes/models they will focus a spot of light down right where it hits the front cover of the lamp housing. With 55w we've seen that little spot of focused light end up causing the area to melt or deform. For that reason we recommend the 35w when it comes to the after market projector lamps, just to be cautious.

To avoid any confusion and possibly someone coming across this thread and ordering the wrong stuff for their vehicle, we'll send you the links and selections for your specific setup via PM.

That looks to be exactly correct there. The bulb capping it will not let you add because its not needed with that bulb type in any situation really and if it was added the bulb would then have a big fitment issue as well.
