Another posting pictures question

I tried to post some pictures in my garage from my digital camera but the files are to large. The picture worked for the avatar so I don't know what the difference would be. Does anyone know if I can change the size of the picture file so it would fit? If you do, please let me know.

If you go to a photo hosting site like photobucket.com or similar, create a free account, and upload your pics to the account. then once you upload you can resize the pics and copy the img code directly. Theres other ways to do it, but thats a fairly simple way
