I like the idea, sounds very interesting. Love to see how it pans out.

Inside Bruce Crower’s Six-Stroke Engine: AutoWeek Magazine
I actually know Bruce Crower and have seen the protypes. I like his new 6 stroke a lot more that what I have read about this new 'bobcat'

A friend of mine has a 2008 corvette with a 6.2l engine. Apparently it is a direct injection gasoline system. It makes 460 brake horse power and a little more torque. It also gets 28mpg on the highway, and 24 in the city. It's really an incredible machine.

Sounds like a carbon producing machine. They will run like s_-t in less than 10k because they have not done anything to make their fuel quality better...... Warranty nightmare!!!!

The higher power level is predicated on being able to get E85. Here in the Sacramento area, there are only a few stations that carry it and none of them are close by me. I can get diesel anywhere!!!

I'm kinda liking the concept, tho I agree that it won't work in a Super Duty mainly for the fact that we'd have to pull over so often... keeping up with 2 fuel systems also requires an educated driver (or another "idiot light"). I don't see myself trading my good ol' 7.3L for one of these. If they put it in the F150's I'll tell my friends about it (or maybe I'll be buying a Mustang someday with that engine?)... given it's been put thru it's paces for a few years and has proven itself.

Im not a fan of it in a real truck, but I like the concept in a 1/2 ton, if it pans out, but like someone else said its nice to see them thinking outside the box

I like the numbers they claim....

Would take some getting used to with two fuel systems, but I'm game for anything.
