you will never be able to completely get rid of the diesel engine in trucks. The need for it is aliv and well. The concept is great as far as them trying to be innovative, but stick with diesels, they're proven and reliable

thats good for the ozone and crap. i see that motor being put in mustangs simply for the power potential it has. i agree with bryan on his point pulling a 14k trailer up a hill with a gasser?? i dont think anyone as seen a fuel guage move so fast or a truck pulling a hill that slow haha

Why not direct inject the gasoline too? Why don't they make a direct injection compression ignition gasser?

I wrote a paper on these engines in high school, I'm afraid this might be a diesel killer
