May i suggest some 3/4 inch bolts or weld your ladder bars back on,those 1/4 or 3/8 bolts are too small for your Big A$$ truck

You really meant it when you said you built her for the pull. That thing must have hooked pretty hard to break all that stuff especially being down on power.

I'm sorry... but you did tell me you wanted it to hook up!!! Truck had all the necesary parts, just a couple of key pressure settings and I knew it was probably gonna break somethings, especially since it was the last event.

Scott did you feel which went first the front or the rear? Sounds like one popped and just sent all the force to the other axle. What kind of front shafts were you running. I have heard good things about the Bobby Longfield Cvs that he came out with for the 60s. I have always run Superiors though. On the hubs I would probably stick with Warn Premiums. Not the strongest option but I do not think you want drive flanges on a street rig. Although may be a good option for nest time while hooking to the sled. JJ

the ladder bar bolts broke, twisted rear end, snapped pinion gear in back, then all pressure went to front and snapped axles and hubs
