They also have a $3500 rebate as well as the Employee Pricing. And Tomball Ford near Houston is offering that plus a free spray in bedliner and FUEL FOR 2 YEARS!!!

Well now that I think about it, they said free gas not free fuel. So maybe they are not doing the free diesel for 2 years.

They are doing this because the lots are FULL of these trucks and they need to move them. I have friends that go to auto auctions and one saw a nice '03 SD crew cab go across the auction block for $10,000. He's sitting on 3 Excursions right now.

This is definitely not helping me to NOT buy a new truck. My current SD was supposed to be the first vehicle I ever paid off, now it looks like I'm going to go finance a new one.

Silly Ford people, making me spend my money like that.

There is no way I'm going to get an '08 now. All that emissions crap is too much to mess with and the EPA is cracking down now on the DPF delete tunes (see other thread) I'm not going to mess with it. I'm going to find a nice used, lifted 2005-2007 6.0.

I would have considered it IF the value of my truck hadn't fallen off the face of the earth!

6 Months ago it was still valued at more than I owed, now I'm so fricking upside down in it I can't get rid of it.

You're not alone brother. My truck lost $15,000 6 months after I purchased it. Sticker: $40,070 as of June 1st. As of January 3rd, CarMax offered $25,000. It's probably worth even less now. Should have bought that '07 PSD Outlaw back in Nov. '06 like I wanted
