hey plane old.... I own a zx-14, but i've always been a harley guy, whats wrong with the bikes? I'd own one if they weren't over priced. Most of them are sweet bikes, and the trucks are very nicely set-up...just over priced as well, lol

I'm sorta on the side with planeold. I don't think there is anything inferior or bad about Harleys. It's all in what you want to buy. But I'm not real fond of paying an exorbitant amount more money just for someone's popular name. I feel like I'm getting ripped off when I do that.

I take it you wouldn't buy a cadillac, or a lincoln, or a Mercedes, BMW, etc? How about Nike or any name brand clothing? its all the same...

I would buy some of those products. But I don't think the Air Jordan Nikes are worth more than the other court shoes because they have his name on them. But they definately cost more!
My truck is a perfect example of this. I have an XLT Sport edition. I ordered it and waited three months for it to come in. It has every option that I wanted on it in that model year which happened to be what comes on most of the Lariets King Ranch and HD models. Mono color paint, black leather captains chairs, sunroof, etc. but Harley Davidson didn't get a single dollar in royalties from me.

the harley truck, while more money has a different leather, just like the King Ranch had different leather, had an interior different from all the others, had a numbered plaque to give its its limited avialability oh yeah, and its resale will always stay way higher than a normal truck... but don't get me wrong, you can get a very very nice SuperDuty with options very similar for less money...The truck I have now is just a lariat, but i do miss the harley. Don't forget the custom paint either than came on the truck (ghost flames on lower doors)

I was fortunate enough to be able to buy one. It's a great looking truck and handles very well. If it wasn't for poor fuel economy, due to a poorly designed exhaust system, I would recommend it. Wish I would have waited a couple of more years.
