I own a Ford Truck and a GMC Acadia. I like them both. I hope Ford can stay our of bankruptcy but they are leveraged to the gills. That is the only reason they have not had to take government money to this point. If sales don't turn around soon Ford will not be far behind Chrysler and GM. They have some hefty finance payments coming up.

Just buy American!

well lets hope GM & Chrysler (Dodge) dont fall off the map who would we make fun of? Ive always been a Ford owner as was my dad. And 2 out of 3 of my daughters. Wish they would bring more small diesel engines in the cars and light trucks. Way better fuel mileage and less pollution, both in refining and emissions. If diesel smoke was harmful why are there so many old truck drivers? fSome have been driving for over 40 years, if it werent for the 2 pack a day of unfiltered Camels they would be fine. LOL Yes I'm a 51 year old truck driver, been breathing diesel since I was 17. (I dont smoke) Look at any OTR truck, all thats coming out of those pipes is hot air. Pay no attention to the city buses, gravel trucks and garbage trucks.

I dont think we will see Ford go under not only because of the other company's but they really do make SOME quality products!! Not all there cars are what they should have or could have been Taurus Tempo and last but the least favorite is the Escort (u will know why when you read my sig), How ever ford has made a turn around with the new cars like the 500 and the Fusion would I ever own one probably not but between buying a Civic or a Fusion the fusion would be my pick!! Ford is also doing better (Truck industry) then all the others and there is a reason for that they build great reliable work trucks for just about anything you need to do and they build great DD with just the right amount of Style and Performance and you can beat the living hell out of them!!! Reason they are the #1 Fleet truck (you know if it isnt yours your going to beat the hell out of it) Just keep supporting Ford any way you can and they will stick around they are Americas Truck Company!!

Ford recently reported a net profit of $2.3 billion. Or revenue, hell, I can't remember.

Ford isn't out of the woods yet but its nice to see a big American company with profits in times like these. If we could just get the rest of our country to "BUY AMERICAN" we'd be in a much better place.
