wel if i remember right it has to be a fifth wheel trailer and have a trucker's class lisence then you can tow another behind it...ive seen people do it in glamis and its crazy ....always wonder how you back somthing like that up

if i remember for a class A license its over 3 axles and 55' long

It takes a class A with a doubles endorsement and it's 65'. I actually have a hitch and towed a quad trailer behind it for four trips (about 2600 miles). I'm 55' so with the quad trailer I was around 71'. I heard they were clamping down on the RVers, therefore, I decided to quit before I got a ticket. I was passed by the CHP numerous times and even had the commercial guy look me over as he drove by. Maybe it was break time so he let me go.

My son has a Duramax now. If he can get off work and I buy the diesel, I'm sure I can get him to go. We'll worry about it later.
