Ok, well with a nice boat like that you get him to come up to our little trip and I will hang out on his boat and keep him off your nerves.

It's a little hard to tell by the pictures but it appears to be a stern-drive. If so what drive is it? Must be something built to handle that much HP. The only twin turbo deals I have seen in boats are usually v-drives and jet boats. I haven't seen a lot but the ones I have seen are usually big blocks. Seems like the best of both worlds with the small block probably gets good gas mileage for and boat and has the power to make it move too. Have you guys GPSed it yet? If so how fast have you gotten it up to?

I hear you, I have had my boat to about 77 MPH and it starts to get a wicked slapping feeling. It has a pretty good hook in the bottom so it’s probably fighting the hook once the boat’s on the ride plate. I could probably pick up a good 3 – 5 MPH if I got the bottom blue printed but I really don’t want to go much faster than that anyways. These Southwinds start to chine-walk over 85 MPH from what I hear anyways.

If someone can't tow my boat, I'll rent one of those trailers. This is going to be FUN! I can't wait.

I don't know if I would recommend this but I have seen people tow their boats behind their toy haulers. I think you need an additional certificate or something. I also think you have to be under 65' or 70' though. Your probably already at 50' or so with your trailer, right?

This kind of reminds me of the long, long trailer. Just don't collect any rocks on the way out there and you should be good.
